1. The service

PennyReel provides AI-assisted scripts, images, individual video clips, complete films, reusable character and place assets, work storage, online playback, and downloads. AI output can be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to output generated for other people. You must review output before publishing it or relying on it for commercial, legal, medical, financial, or other important purposes.

2. Your content and permissions

You retain your rights in lawful content you submit. You grant PennyReel and its contracted processors a limited license to host, copy, process, and transmit that content only as needed to provide, secure, maintain, and support the service you request.

You confirm that you have all rights and permissions required for your inputs and intended use of the output. This includes permission for a person's likeness or voice and rights in music, photographs, video, trademarks, and copyrighted material. Do not use a person's likeness or voice to create a harmful or misleading impersonation without consent.

3. Prohibited use

You may not use PennyReel to create, upload, or distribute:

• Illegal, fraudulent, harassing, hateful, threatening, or rights-infringing material.
• Any sexualized, exploitative, or dangerous content involving a minor.
• Non-consensual intimate media, identity theft, or deceptive deepfakes likely to cause real-world harm.
• Malware, attempts to bypass security, interference with the service, or automated resource abuse.

We may refuse a request, restrict access, remove unlawful material, preserve evidence, or respond to a lawful request from an authority where reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties, and the service.

4. Credits and in-app purchases

• Credits are consumable digital entitlements used for image, clip, and film generation inside PennyReel. They are not money, stored value, or cryptocurrency and cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
• After a verified purchase, the purchased credits and any stated bonus are added to your balance. Credits do not expire while the service remains in operation.
• An individual clip is charged when its job is submitted. A complete film is charged only after you approve its quote and start production. If generation fails for a technical reason after a deduction, the deducted credits are returned automatically.
• Apple handles price localization, payment, tax, and refund requests under App Store rules. Except where applicable law or Apple policy requires otherwise, delivered or consumed credits are non-refundable.

5. Availability and changes

AI and GPU services may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, capacity, network conditions, or third-party failures. We use reasonable care to maintain persistent work storage, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service or successful output every time. Keep downloaded copies of important work.

We may change models, features, and future credit prices for security, legal, cost, or product reasons. An ordinary price change will not reduce credits already in your balance.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PennyReel is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated in these Terms. PennyReel is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing here excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Termination

You may stop using PennyReel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful use, security risk, or necessary service discontinuation. Provisions that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, responsibility, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue after termination.

8. Apple terms, contact, and public addresses

The Apple-distributed app is also governed by the Apple Standard EULA. Mandatory law and applicable Apple terms control if they conflict with these Terms.
