Last updated: May 4, 2026. This page explains what data KlineTrainer uses to provide chart training, subscriptions, profiles, and leaderboard features.

Information We Use

KlineTrainer is designed as a chart-training app. The app may use the following information:

  • Profile information you set in the app, such as nickname and avatar.
  • Training settings, theme, language preference, and local training progress.
  • Training results that you choose to publish to the season leaderboard.
  • Subscription status verified through Apple StoreKit.
  • Basic web server logs, such as IP address and user agent, when you visit these support pages.

How We Use Information

We use information to provide core app features, including:

  • Saving your local profile and training preferences.
  • Showing your selected avatar and nickname in the app.
  • Displaying leaderboard performance when you enable leaderboard publishing.
  • Checking whether your Apple subscription unlocks unlimited daily training.
  • Improving service reliability and preventing abuse.

Leaderboard and Training Data

Leaderboard participation is controlled inside the app. If you publish a result, the leaderboard may show your nickname, avatar, market, season, net value, return, Sharpe ratio, and other performance statistics. Detailed trade operations are not published in the current leaderboard version.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple. KlineTrainer receives subscription entitlement information from StoreKit so the app can unlock unlimited daily training. We do not receive your full payment card details.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only when needed to operate the app, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or process Apple subscriptions through Apple services.

Data Retention

Local app data remains on your device unless you delete the app or change settings. Server-side logs and leaderboard data may be retained as needed for operation, security, and product support.

Children

KlineTrainer is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact support.
